Old Republic Title's Response to COVID-19
We will be adding all important information regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) to this page. Please refer back to this page frequently. Updates will happen as we have them available. During this period, Old Republic Title will continue to support the viability of its business and business partners while, most importantly, assisting in the preservation of the health and welfare of the general public, our employees, customers and agents.
A Message from the President of Old Republic Title
Given the recent developments of the coronavirus (COVID-19), I want to provide an update on the measures Old Republic Title is putting into place. The health and well-being of our employees, agents and customers is our top priority and we're committed to protecting those around us. Our thoughts are with all those impacted by COVID-19 as we take the necessary precautions to help slow the spread of the virus.
As a Company with a substantial workforce and offices across the country, we know the decisions we make not only affect our employees and their families, but the communities where they live and work. To that end, we have eliminated non-essential work travel, cancelled all scheduled events for employees and customers, and temporarily suspended in-person meetings for sales and audit personnel. We are further working to limit the number of people in our offices by implementing a mix of remote work and split operations, while continuing to conduct enhanced sanitation practices in our offices.
During this time, our goal is to tap the resources, tools and technology we have available to enable our teams in keeping business moving forward to meet the title insurance and settlement services needs of those who count on us. We are empowering our managers and employees, asking them to be flexible, especially those at higher risk for complications from the virus, for those who have family members at higher risk, or for those who face challenges related to childcare.
While County Recorders’ offices are closing in some locations around the country, we are doing all we can to continue meeting the needs of our customers while conducting transactions. Old Republic Title stands ready to assist with the underwriting of title insurance policies.
We will continue to make decisions with our employees’, agents’ and customers’ well-being at the forefront. As our Company has for more than a century, we will adapt to withstand the ups and downs that come our way, including the many implications of this COVID-19 national emergency. Thank you for your continued trust and confidence in Old Republic Title and for navigating these changes with us.

Old Republic Title is dedicated to our goal of facilitating your closing. To that end, we will tap the resources, tools and technology we have available to enable our teams in keeping business moving forward. We are experiencing a high volume of calls and emails and are working diligently to meet our customers’ needs and expectations.
We are doing all we can to keep employees and clients safe:
- Asking staff to stay home if they feel ill
- Hand Sanitizer and cleaning supplies in all offices
- Wiping down conference room tables, door knobs and handles after each signing
- Practicing Social Distancing and asking employees to work from home
- Limiting office visits to essential meetings
- We have the ability to do DOCUSIGN or Remote Online Notaries.
- We offer mobile notaries as an option if you don’t want to come to the office.
- Keeping pens to a one time use and sending signing pen home with each customer or allowing them to use their own
- Keeping the lines of communication open between our mobile notaries and clients, as we want everyone to feel safe and protected
Old Republic Title and its employees are here to support our customers.
