Born in Santa Monica, California, Kevin Pogoda grew up in Southern California. A graduate from the University of California at Berkeley with degrees in Rhetoric (honors) and Legal Studies (high honors), Kevin completed his law school education at the Santa Clara University School of Law in 1994.
After law school, Kevin worked in several firms located in New Jersey, Virginia and the District of Columbia. While in private practice, Kevin’s experience included SEC compliance, Indian gaming law, commercial litigation, labor and employment law, and not-for-profit litigation. Kevin has passed the bar exams for California, New Jersey, Virginia and Maryland.
In 1998, Kevin began his career as a settlement agent at a prominent settlement company located in Annandale, Virginia. While in that position, Kevin performed approximately 3,000 settlements and focused on 1031 Exchanges and resolving title issues. Kevin joined Old Republic National Title Insurance Company in May 2006 and now serves as First Vice President and Virginia State Manager, Northern Division.
In his capacity as Virginia State Manager, Kevin regularly speaks as an instructor before various groups, including attorneys, realtors, and title/settlement agents. He has authored VLTA’s 16-hour online Pre-Licensing Course, VLTA’s 16-hour online VCTSA Course for settlement agents, and MLTA’s 16-hour online Pre-Licensing Course. Kevin is a Past President of the Virginia Land Title Association and a recipient of VLTA’s Distinguished Service Award for 2017.
A Virginia native, Hayden-Anne Breedlove is an attorney for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, where she provides legal guidance on complex real estate transactions, underwriting policies, and regulatory compliance. She works closely with title agents, lenders, and real estate professionals to mitigate risk and resolve title defects. She also develops and presents continuing education programs for attorneys and title professionals, helping them navigate the evolving legal landscape of real estate and title insurance.
Hayden-Anne earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and History, with a minor in French, from the University of Virginia, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond School of Law. She will graduate with her MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in May of 2025.
During law school, she was president of the Real Estate Law Society, served as a research assistant reviewing and editing a housing law textbook, and performed pro bono work in housing. She also clerked for the Honorable judges of Henrico County Circuit Court before transitioning into title insurance law.
Hayden-Anne is actively involved in the Virginia State Bar Real Property Section, where she serves as the co-editor of Fee Simple, the state bar’s journal publication on real property law. She is also the academic liaison with the University of Richmond for the Virginia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. Additionally, she is a member of the Examiner Committee of the Virginia Land Title Association and serves on the Title Insurance Committee of the Virginia State Bar Real Property Section.
Outside of work, Hayden-Anne enjoys traveling—especially to the beach—reading, playing tennis, and spending time with her family.
