ALTA 2021 Forms (AC February 2024)

ALTA 2021 Forms

As we start this new year, here is a brief refresher on the new ALTA 2021 forms.

Though the 2006 forms are still available for issuance, please check with your lender before you use these policy forms. Loans backed by US government entities must use the ALTA 2021 policy loan forms as of January 1, 2024:

  • Guide Section 4702.2 (freddiemac.com)
  • B7-2-03, General Title Insurance Coverage (07/06/2022) (fanniemae.com)

What this means is that originating lenders will not be able to sell their mortgages without a 2021 loan policy form. Please be sure to use the revised statutory Notice to Policyholders and the current Old Republic Title Privacy Policy.
