Kevin has passed the bar exams for California, New Jersey, Virginia and Maryland.

In 1998, Kevin began his career as a settlement agent at a prominent settlement company located in Annandale, Virginia. While in that position, Kevin performed approximately 3,000 settlements and focused on 1031 Exchanges and resolving title issues. Kevin joined Old Republic National Title Insurance Company in May 2006 and now serves as First Vice President and Virginia State Manager, Northern Division.

In his capacity as Virginia State Manager, Kevin regularly speaks as an instructor before various groups, including attorneys, realtors, and title/settlement agents. He has authored VLTA’s 16-hour online Pre-Licensing Course, VLTA’s 16-hour online VCTSA Course for settlement agents, and MLTA’s 16-hour online Pre-Licensing Course. Kevin is a Past President of the Virginia Land Title Association and a recipient of VLTA’s Distinguished Service Award for 2017.

Kay Creasman, Virginia Counsel and Assistant Vice President for Old Republic National Title Company, has been with Old Republic since March, 2008 solving problems with practical solutions for title and settlement agents throughout Virginia.

Ms. Creasman received a J.D. from the University of Richmond, a M.Ed. from Tulane University, and a B.S. from Athens College. Since 1976, she has, at various times, maintained a private law practice in the Richmond area focusing on real estate, small business matters, and wills; owned and operated a high-volume title insurance and non-attorney settlement agency; been employed by national underwriters as counsel in Virginia and West Virginia; searched title in the record rooms; and taught both undergraduate and graduate students in the business schools at Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Richmond. Ms. Creasman is a frequent speaker for VaCLE, Virginia Land Title Association, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and others on real estate and title insurance matters.

Ms. Creasman has been active as an Area Representative for the Real Property Section of the Virginia State Bar since 2010 involved with multiple committees, has been on the Board of Governors since 2013, and currently (2018-2019) serves as the Chair of the Board of Governors. She is a member of the Real Estate Section of the Virginia Bar Association. She is the recipient of the 2017 Traver Scholar Award presented by the Real Property Section of the Virginia State Bar and Virginia Continuing Legal Education to honor men and women who embody the highest ideals and expertise in the practice of real estate law. Traver Scholars are Real Property Section members who have made significant contributions to the practice of real property law generally and the Section specifically and have generously shared their knowledge with others.

Ms. Creasman is an active member and a past president (2003-2004) of the Virginia Land Title Association (VLTA), and the 2010 recipient of the VLTA Distinguished Service Award, which honors individual members of VLRA who have made significant contributions to, and an impact on, the success of the Association. Within VLTA she focuses on legislative matters affecting real estate in Virginia and continuing education of title and settlement agents.

Stewart Rauch grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (with a minor in Mathematical Analysis) from Middlebury College and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law.

After graduating from law school, Stewart worked as a corporate and commercial litigator in Washington D.C., gaining significant experience in complex commercial transactions, real estate matters, employment law, and contract disputes. Stewart then opened, owned and operated a title agency and settlement company in Fairfax, Virginia and maintained his own private law practice primarily focused on real estate related matters. Stewart has lived in Virginia since 1990. He is licensed to practice law in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Georgia.

Stewart joined Old Republic National Title Insurance Company in April, 2014 as Associate Counsel.

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Jon Brodegard received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (with minors in Business Management and Spanish) from Brigham Young University and his Juris Doctor from the George Mason University School of Law (now George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School).

Jon has a deep appreciation for the things that stay the same as well as the regional differences that exist in real estate matters. Jon applied state law principles in federal administrative proceedings as judicial law clerk in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of Hearings and Appeals. Following his clerkship, Jon conducted business from Baltimore to Fredericksburg as an in-house attorney with a title company. As business increased, Jon also trained attorneys for positions in nine new affiliate offices. Subsequently, Jon maintained his focus on real estate by joining a law practice located in the Hampton Roads area.

Jon joined Old Republic National Title Insurance Company in September, 2018, as Counsel.

When he is not hard at work, Jon enjoys being outdoors, particularly hiking and bicycling with his children. He also enjoys picking and preserving fresh fruits and berries, and he hopes to have a bigger and more productive vegetable garden this year.
