David Scott, First Vice President, ORNTIC, Assistant Manager for National Agency Services, has been promoted to Manager, National Agency Services and appointed Senior Vice President, ORNTIC. David assumes the position effective July 1, 2017, as Fred Jones transitions out of the role and becomes Senior Agency Representative for National Agency Services, part of Old Republic Title's National Services Division. David continues to report to Pat Connor, President, Old Republic National Title Services, Inc. and is based in the Company's Aurora, CO, office.
David oversees the continued growth and development of the National Agents roster for Old Republic Title, which includes some of the Company's largest and most important agent relationships.
David is a veteran title insurance professional with more than 30 years of experience. He began his title insurance career in 1983 when he joined a regional title insurance company in Denver where he was responsible for sales, sales management and marketing. He then joined a national title insurance underwriter, managing sales and agent recruitment and support, where he was responsible for the growth and development of a 25-state region. In 1996, he joined another Colorado-based national title insurance company and was quickly promoted to National Sales Director.
In 2000, David became a Sales Representative for Old Republic Title Residential Information Services (ORTRIS). In 2004, he transitioned to Assistant Manager for National Agency Services and he was appointed Vice President, ORNTIC in 2010. In 2015, he was appointed First Vice President, ORNTIC.
David earned his bachelor of business administration degree from The Colorado College in Colorado Springs. He is a graduate of the University of Denver College of Law, where he obtained his juris doctor degree. David also is an active member of the American Land Title Association and serves on Old Republic Title's National Leadership Team as part of its National Committee.
