Daniel L. Krimmer joined Old Republic Title as Vice President, ORNTIC, and New York State Counsel, as of October 1, 2020. He is based in Westbury, NY, and is a valuable addition to our outstanding group of underwriting professionals.
Daniel brings a wealth of knowledge from having worked as Chief Counsel and in senior and executive leadership roles in the title insurance industry for nearly 30 years. Prior to joining Old Republic Title, Daniel was Chief Counsel and Executive Vice President for a title insurance company based out of Mineola, NY, where he worked for 16 years.
Prior to that, Daniel had been Regional Chief Counsel for a national title insurance underwriter for five years and was Chief Counsel and Senior Vice President for another national title insurer for eight years, overseeing its New York operations.
Daniel is a graduate of Long Island’s Hofstra University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in political science and English. He attended law school at Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in White Plains, NY, to earn his juris doctor degree.
Active in the community and recognized for his spirit of philanthropy, Daniel has served as a member of the Nassau County, NY, Budget Economic and Reconciliation Committee. He also served as a Nassau County Commissioner on Human Rights for eight years. He is a recipient of the prestigious Nassau County Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Award for humanitarian efforts on Long Island, NY.
