About the Instructor: Ashley Strauss-Martin
Ashley Strauss-Martin has been practicing law in New Mexico for 27 years, with a focus on real estate law for the last 22 years. She is the owner of both Real Estate Law Associates (RELA), a law practice that focuses primarily on seller-financing, and New Mexico Escrow Solutions, an escrow company that services seller-financing instruments state-wide. She has served as General Counsel for the New Mexico Association of Realtors® (NMAR) since 2007 where she runs a legal hot line for over 7000 Realtor® members, assists with the drafting of residential and commercial real estate forms used by NMAR members, drafts legislation for introduction before the New Mexico's State Legislature, testifies as an expert witness before the New Mexico State Legislature on legislation impacting Realtor® members and private property rights and much more.
