Inside Sales and Marketing Associate

Old Republic Exchange has an excellent opportunity available for an Inside Sales and Marketing Associate in our Tampa, FL office. This employee's primary responsibility is to take direction from and for providing sales, marketing, and customer service support to the Regional Sales Executive for Florida and Georgia. This employee must be detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task and have excellent organizational skills. This employee must also have excellent data entry, telephone and customer service skills and must be responsive and timely in answering questions and when returning telephone calls. This employee's duties include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

Essential Functions:

  • Phone support for Sales Region and regular interface with clients regarding all aspects of exchange.
  • Regular interfacing with the Regional Sales Executive to address/resolve any issues with existing files as necessary; opening orders; along with asking for and documenting referral source; and adopting and implementing a team approach.
  • Consistent and accurate entry of data.
  • Daily sales and marketing duties including, but not limited to:
    • sending out information/lead letters and brochures to new and prospective clients;
    • maintaining updated list of clients and prospective clients in Outlook/Xchange;
    • collecting email addresses, including past clients and actively researching title agents, direct operations, closing attorneys, real estate offices, CPA's, and financial planners for inclusion in database;
    • sending follow up letters to presentation/meeting or seminar attendees;
    • adding attendees to database/mailing lists for future marketing;
    • sending thank-you letters on closed transactions to exchanger, closing attorneys and real estate agents;
    • and keeping marketing materials ready for Sales Executives' presentations.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Regional Sales Executive.
  • Ability to work from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Must be personable and positive and be a professional representative of the Company.
  • Regular consistent attendance is required, that could include attendance at after hour Company events.
  • Ability to accept supervision.
  • Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person.
  • Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:

  • Knowledge of 1031 Exchanges, understanding of the rules and regulations and providing Qualified Intermediary services.
  • Knowledge of or experience in escrow or settlement services (title insurance industry)
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • CRM platform experience a plus.

Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to work approved and requested overtime, by supervisor.
  • Repetitive and continual typing motion is required.

Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years
