Account Executive - Sales

SUMMARY

Old Republic Title has an excellent opportunity for an Account Executive - Sales in our Chicago Metro area. Position is responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through closing and policy delivery. Develops and implements agreed-upon marketing plan, which meets business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintains relationships with existing client base, pursuant to the directives of management.
Maintains or updates all customer data base monthly in Salesforce.
Maintains all customer pricing requirements in Shared Folder.
Identifies and converts prospects to new customers to augment client base.
Using a consultative sales approach, analyzes existing and anticipated customer requirements and promotes consideration of title products to fulfill such requirements
Prepares yearly business plan and monthly status reports as required by management due by the 10th of every month. This monthly report should show new accounts, leads and notes on follow-up of each account.
Develops new marketing strategies and presents them to management, when requested.
Understands all title and closing production procedures, administrative product information and demonstrations to clients.
Obtains and records detailed client profiles useful in the delivery of services to the client.
Is a member of two associations within the local market.
Conducts post-closing interviews to determine quality of services delivered.
Is able to perform notary closings when requested.
Attends sales meetings as required.
Maintains high visibility in real estate community by representing the Company at social/business functions including but not limited to golf tournaments, industry meetings or seminars, real estate conventions, and through personal involvement in service groups and business organizations.
Maintains strict client confidentiality.
Exhibits a courteous, business-like manner and professional demeanor.

Ability to foster and develop professional and collaborative working relationships.

Determines and reports competitor activities and market conditions to manager.

Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person.

Must be personable, positive, and a professional representative of the Company. Be able to sell multiple product lines effectively.

Complete understanding of competitors in our market place.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Minimum 2-4 years outside sales experience in title insurance industry is preferred.

Fundamental understanding of insurance and real property concepts.

General knowledge of State Board of Insurance regulations.

Detailed knowledge and compliance with company codes of ethics and all policies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook and Ramquest.

Previous experience in a title insurance sales role preferred.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS

Comply with company hours of 8:00-5:00 with the understanding that attendance at after-hour functions may be required.

Overnight business travel by air and/or automobile is required when needed.

Valid driver's license and auto insurance is required.

Ability to work with confidential information.

Ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday.

Repetitive and continual typing motion is required.
