According
to newly released media
reports (e.g.
the Minneapolis Star Tribune), the Minnesota Department of
Commerce has "shut down" the
lending operations of Centennial Mortgage &
Funding, Inc., d/b/a Award Mortgage, as evidenced by a
Cease & Desist
Order dated March 28, 2008.
As a result of this
disclosure, Old Republic operations or agents should not
close loans involving Centennial
Mortgage & Funding, Inc., d/b/a Award
Mortgage, until
further notice from Old Republic.
This ALERT! is being issued for
the sole purpose of meeting the Company's predetermined
underwriting criteria and should in no way be construed
