RE:                  2012 Allegheny County Property Tax

Due to the confusion and uncertainty regarding the reassessments in Allegheny County, the county and the Pittsburgh city and school tax due dates have been postponed.

City and school tax bills (City of Pittsburgh and Mt. Oliver Borough) were mailed on February 24, and are payable at discount by March 31 (rather than February 10).

County tax bills will be mailed in March, and are payable at discount by May 31 (rather than March 31).

Other municipality and school district taxes in the county are traditionally due later in the year. We have no information at this time that any other municipal or school district tax due dates have been changed.
