MASSACHUSETTS PREMIUM RATE CHANGE

EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 15, 2003 

Old Republic National Title Insurance Company will be increasing rates for OWNERS’ POLICIES ONLY.  The change is as follows:

Liability Amount  

Premium

 
Up to $1 million

$4.00 per thousand 

which includes the Homeowners Extended Coverage Endorsement – “Premium Policy”

 
Over $1 million

Calculate premium for first million as shown above, then add $2.50 per thousand for the portion of the liability over $1 million 

 
Over $2 million Negotiable

 
Simultaneous Issue Fee $100.00 (unchanged)

 

Minimum Charge  

(i.e. liability amounts less than $25,000)

 $100.00 (unchanged

Special Notes:

1.     We have contacted local software vendors and informed them of this change.  However, it would be wise for you to contact your vendor and make sure the changes are properly made within your own system.

2.      New Rate Cards are being printed and will be mailed out as soon as available.

3.    If you quoted the old premium rate, we will honor it through 4/30/03.
