Environmental Studies

An environmental site assessment (ESA) identifies potential or existing environmental contamination liabilities on the subject property.

The analysis typically addresses both the underlying land, as well as physical improvements to the property; however, a Phase I ESA does not include an actual collection of physical samples or chemical analyses of any kind. A Phase II ESA is inclusive of Phase I, and includes physical sampling and analyses of soil, etc. It also may consist of asbestos testing.
