SUBJECT:    Revision of Owner’s Affidavit  (Indiv)

Effective January 1, 2012 the State of Delaware recognized Civil Unions and this legislation has made it necessary to revise the individual Owner’s Affidavit of title.

The Affidavit has been revised to incorporate language that will address the requirements requested by Old Republic Title Insurance Company when the grantor is a party to a Civil Union.

A copy of the revised Owner’s Affidavit is attached to this bulletin.

**ATTENTION TITLE EXPRESS USERS:** 

  On April 13, 2012, Title Express released the updated 560 DE OR Owner’s Affidavit (Indiv) {0412} for the Delaware forms package.  To ensure you have the current forms, download the updated underwriter package from the Title Express Underwriter Forms page.

They will only have the updated form posted online, temporarily removing others, so when you download your form, you won’t get all the forms that have not changed.
