Recording Document Specialist

eRecording Partners Network (ePN), a subsidiary of Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, has an excellent opportunity available for a Recording Document Specialist in Fresno, CA. A Recording Document Specialist (RDS) is responsible for the examination, preparation and accurate timely submission of real estate documents on behalf of ePN clients. Real estate documents include all documents related to real property that are placed on public record at a local County Recorder office. An RDS is also responsible for all functions associated with the submission process including but not limited to:
  • Examining documents for specified requirements
  • Researching online County indexes
  • Tracking communication and modifications to Real Estate documents
  • Basic accounting and reconciliation of fees paid for daily work

PLEASE NOTE: This position REQUIRES DAILY DRIVING between local County Recorder offices (Madera, Kings and Tulare). Reliable transportation is required. Candidates must be available to work varying schedules outside of normal business hours such as 7:00a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or 9:00a.m. – 6:00p.m.


Regular consistent attendance is required.
Ability to work a specified schedule anytime from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Must be a personable, positive, and professional representative of the Company.
Ability to accept supervision.
Must have valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Ability to foster, develop, and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must work well with peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.
Be the first point of contact for client inquires and questions that may arise.
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees, and customers by email, phone, and in person.
Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of real estate documents, title insurance, or escrow functions is preferred.
Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle large volumes of work with tight deadlines.


Ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday.
Must be able to work approved and requested overtime, by supervisor.
Repetitive and continual typing motion is required.
